Nutty Cocoa Bliss Balls




Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dates, pitted and soaked in warm water for 10 minutes

  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, and walnuts work well)

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • A pinch of sea salt

  • 2-3 tablespoons water (if needed)

Instructions:

  1. Drain the soaked dates and place them in a food processor.

  2. Add the mixed nuts to the food processor with the dates.

  3. Process the dates and nuts until they are finely chopped and well combined.

  4. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, shredded coconut, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt to the mixture in the food processor.

  5. Process again until all the ingredients are well mixed. The mixture should have a sticky consistency.

  6. If the mixture is too dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time and process until it reaches the desired consistency.

  7. Once the mixture is ready, scoop out small portions and roll them into bite-sized bliss balls using your hands.

  8. Roll the bliss balls in extra shredded coconut or cocoa powder for an extra coating, if desired.

  9. Place the bliss balls on a baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes too firm up.

  10. Once chilled, your Nutty Cocoa Bliss Balls are ready to enjoy! Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
